Following the recent fire incident that affected the Music House in Ibadan, home to Fresh FM, the Oyo State Government has extended its support to renowned broadcaster and musician, Dr. Yinka Ayefele. The fire, which occurred on a Friday, resulted in the loss of property valued at several millions of naira.
In a gesture of solidarity, the state government presented an SUV to Dr. Ayefele. The presentation took place at the Music House, Challenge, Ibadan, and was made on behalf of Governor Seyi Makinde by the Honourable Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Otunba Ademola Ojo.
Conveying the Governor’s message, Otunba Ojo lauded Dr. Ayefele for his unwavering resilience and significant contributions to the growth of media and the entertainment industry in Oyo State and across Nigeria. He stated, “On behalf of His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, and the government of Oyo State, we are here to express our heartfelt sympathy. You remain a symbol of courage and a source of inspiration to millions.”
The gesture was met with deep appreciation from Dr. Ayefele, who has been dealing with the aftermath of the unfortunate incident.
