Akinjide Akinola Foundation to Sponsor 400 Candidates for 2026 JAMB

The Akinjide Kazeem Akinola Foundation (AKA Foundation) has confirmed that no fewer than 400 prospective candidates within the Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency of Oyo State will benefit from its 2026 Free JAMB Forms initiative. This philanthropic gesture is part of the foundation's sustained efforts to promote human capital development and facilitate easier access to higher education for indigent but qualified students in the constituency.

Since its inception in 2022, the AKA Foundation’s educational support program has grown steadily in scope and impact. Records show that the initiative started with 150 beneficiaries in 2022, increasing to 200 in 2023, 300 in 2024, and now maintaining the capacity to support 400 candidates for the 2026 academic cycle. The distribution of the free Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) forms will be split evenly between the two local government areas comprising the constituency: Egbeda and Ona-Ara.

Beyond merely providing the registration forms, the program is designed as a holistic support system. It includes tutorial classes to prepare the candidates for the examination and offers scholarship opportunities for those who perform outstandingly. The foundation views this comprehensive approach as essential for ensuring that beneficiaries do not just sit for the exams but actually secure admission into tertiary institutions.

Speaking on the initiative, Akinola Kazeem, the founder of the foundation and a House of Representatives aspirant for the constituency, reiterated his belief that education is the most potent tool for sustainable development. Through his Media Assistant, Akinloye Yusuf, he emphasized that his political aspiration is deeply rooted in the empowerment of young people. He stated that if elected to the National Assembly, educational advancement would remain a core priority of his legislative agenda. The foundation maintains that this intervention is a non-political effort aimed at securing a brighter future for the next generation of leaders in Oyo State.
