In a commendable step towards promoting cultural heritage, Governor Seyi Makinde (GSM) has reaffirmed his dedication to the economic and cultural revitalization of Oyo State. As part of this initiative, a new policy directive encourages civil and public servants in the state to wear Aso Ofi on Thursdays, fostering a sense of community and pride in local traditions.
In line with this initiative, civil and public servants in the state are encouraged to incorporate the Aso Ofi material into their attire. This traditional fabric, prominently produced in Iseyin and other towns across Oyo State, not only highlights local craftsmanship but also promotes cultural heritage within the workplace.
