The Federal Government has concluded the contract for the Oyo-Ogbomoso road project, providing various explanations for this decision.
On Thursday, February 20, 2025, the Federal government made a significant announcement regarding the 98km Oyo-Ogbomoso road contract initially awarded to Reynolds Construction Company (RCC).
During a Federal Roads Stakeholders' engagement in Ibadan, themed ‘Enhancing Federal Roads in Oyo State: Challenges and Sustainable Solutions,’ the Minister of Works, Engr. Dave Umahi, emphasized that the project had been long overdue. He reassured the public that plans are in place to re-award the contract to a new contractor soon, underlining the government's commitment to improving road infrastructure in the region.
