Makinde Appoints Retired Major General Omoniyi as Executive Adviser on Security Coordination

Oyo State Governor, 'Seyi Makinde, has officially approved the appointment of Major-General Lukman Tokunbo Omoniyi (Rtd) as his Executive Adviser on Security Coordination. This strategic appointment was confirmed in a letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Musibau Babatunde, and takes immediate effect. Beyond his military prowess, General Omoniyi possesses a strong academic background relevant to his new portfolio. He holds two Master of Science degrees from the University of Ibadan: one in Humanitarian and Refugee Studies and another in Strategic Studies. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate Degree in Peace, Security, and Humanitarian Studies at the same institution.
