Staying true to the saying “charity begins at home,” the initiative kicked off in his own neighborhood, where he already runs a Free Basic Education Program supporting 100 children. This fresh drive expands his efforts by providing notebooks and school items for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The books for this year carry a special branding in honor of the new Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja.
“This means a lot to me because my passion is to inspire and support children in underserved Agboles of Ibadan. Coincidentally, this initiative is taking off the same month Baba was crowned Olubadan. I was in primary school when Baba became Governor of Oyo State, and I still remember the positive impact of his education policies,” Mogaji Ile Nla stated.
“I want every child who receives these books to see Baba’s face and draw inspiration from his journey as the Olubadan of Ibadanland.”
With the project, the Mogaji hopes to reach at least 5,000 children before the end of the month, reinforcing his commitment to promoting education and motivating the younger generation in Ibadan’s grassroots communities.
