In a significant display of community solidarity and remembrance, the Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, has hosted a large-scale festive outreach program in Eruwa, the headquarters of Ibarapa East Local Government. The event, held at the family’s renowned Ori-Oke Ogundoyin residence, was organized to celebrate the Christmas and New Year festivities with the most vulnerable segments of the population. Over 1,000 beneficiaries, primarily comprising widows, elderly citizens, and indigent children, gathered to receive welfare packages aimed at alleviating the economic strain associated with the season.
The distribution exercise featured a variety of essential items, including foodstuff, clothing materials, and direct cash gifts. This initiative is deeply rooted in the Ogundoyin family tradition, serving as a continuation of the philanthropic legacy established by the Speaker's late parents, Chief Adeseun Ogundoyin and Chief Mrs. Tina Ogundoyin.
