President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has joined family, friends and the nation in celebrating retired General Yakubu Gowon—former Head of State from 1966 to 1975—on his 91st birthday. In a congratulatory message, President Tinubu praised General Gowon’s patriotism, visionary leadership and enduring contributions to Nigeria’s unity, peace and development.
