Lagos, Nigeria — President Bola Ahmed Tinubu landed in Lagos on Friday for a working visit ahead of Nigeria’s 65th Independence Day.
According to a statement from his spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, the trip follows Tinubu’s attendance at the coronation of Oba Rashidi Ladoja as the 44th Olubadan in Ibadan, Oyo State.
While in Lagos, the President is expected to meet with senior government officials and key private sector figures to review ongoing national initiatives and economic strategies.
In addition, Tinubu is scheduled to visit Imo State on September 30 to inaugurate infrastructure projects completed by Governor Hope Uzodimma.
A highlight of his Independence Day agenda will be the unveiling of the renovated National Theatre, rebranded as the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and the Creative Arts.
