UI Marks 77th Foundation Day, Honours 487 PhD Graduates in Grand Convocation

The University of Ibadan (UI) has held a majestic ceremony to mark its 77th Foundation Day, combining convocation proceedings with academic recognition and a celebration of its storied legacy. As part of the day’s events, UI conferred doctoral degrees on 487 scholars, underscoring its leadership in postgraduate education.

The celebration brought together university officials, graduates, families, and dignitaries in a formal convocation that highlighted both academic achievement and institutional heritage.
