Lookman’s representatives, who have strong ties with multiple clubs and also manage players like Kai Havertz, Karim Adeyemi, and Mohammed Kudus, have been actively seeking a move for the Nigerian international.
According to Graeme Bailey, Lookman was offered to Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham, Manchester City, and Aston Villa within the past 48 hours following the collapse of his proposed transfer to Inter Milan.
However, none of those clubs responded positively, as they are currently focused on their own preferred targets.
That said, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that Arsenal are keeping an eye on the situation and could consider a move if Leandro Trossard departs before the window closes.
Lookman was also offered to Liverpool, but their attention remains on signing Alexander Isak; a deal expected to cost between £100 million and £130 million if completed.
Meanwhile, the Premier League champions have already spent €339.68 million during this transfer window and are still negotiating with Crystal Palace for Marc Guehi.
Following the breakdown of the Inter move, Lookman has returned to Zingonia, Bergamo, where he will train separately from the Atalanta squad. As a result, he is unlikely to feature in their Serie A opener against Pisa.
The 27-year-old came close to joining Inter, but Atalanta rejected both of their bids; the first worth €40 million and the second around €45 million including add-ons; standing firm on their €50 million valuation.
