Amorim: Hojlund's best game for me

Rasmus Hojlund was unable to add to the last-minute equalizer he scored during the match against Bournemouth, but he exhibited a strong performance while leading the attack for Manchester United in their 3-0 victory over Athletic Club. The 22-year-old displayed improved agility as a target man and showed significantly better positional awareness compared to his recent outings. 

Manager Ruben Amorim has continued to support the struggling striker amidst a challenging season, partially due to a shortage of experienced alternatives. Following Hojlund's performance in Thursday's match, Amorim expressed his confidence in the player, stating, “It was the best game he had with me as coach. He helped the team a lot. He secured the ball and made runs. It was a good moment for him, but like Harry (Maguire), he needs to understand that everything can change, so let’s focus on the next one. This one is in the past.”
